How does the training work?
- To avoid overwhelm and to make sure you take action the course is broken up into a series of modules.Â
- Each of the 5 modules contains a collection of short video classes for you to watch and be inspired by. You can watch these back over and over again.Â
- Each module will come with it's own downloadable workbook allowing you to clearly see the key points from each lesson and work on the reflective tasks.Â
- As we reach the end of a module you will be able to review your progress by using the Success Path and checking you have hit the milestones.Â
- At the end of the training you will be required. to submit a 500 word reflective statement showing the impact of the work we've done together on your personal and professional life.
- We understand that time's can get a little busy. We also don't want you to rush through the training process. Therefore we give you a life time to complete this.Â

Frequently Asked Questions
Thet training has been designed to allow you to work through the training even if you're not attached to a school, setting or childminding business. With many case studies available for you to reflect on and develop your own ethos when you're ready to start in setting.
We have many consultants, play workers, supply teachers and trainees working through the course to support their wellbeing and best practice.Â
The training can be done as an individual or school/ setting. When you're ready to submit your reflective task for completion just let us know what name needs to go on the award.Â
The training can be done as quickly as you like. With some members completing the training over 2 months (during lockdown). We understand that we all like to work at different paces. However there is no need to rush and you can take your time with the 2 year study limit.Â
1 hour a week is recommended.
Paying monthly for your training involves spreading the cost of your payment. Therefore full payment will still need to be collected even if you finish early. Or you can pay off the remaining balance as one lump sum. Failure to make full payment will revoke access to the training and will invalidate the completion certificate.Â
At Hygge in the Early Years, weâve always believed in the power of meaningful change. While our training was previously accredited, weâve consciously shifted our focus. For those who joined before May 2025, youâll still receive an accreditation certificate.
But moving forward, we want our training to be more than just another course to tick off. Itâs about real-life transformations that enhance your well-being and teaching quality. The true achievement comes not from a certificate, but from the positive changes you experience in your daily practice.
